Arrival Instructions

1. Early check-ins are £25 for a check-in at 12pm. Please contact us at least 48 hours prior to confirm availability and for the payment link. Subject to our housekeeping magic, which doesn't always work. 

2. Half-day bookings (10am check-in) are available at £50, subject to availability, to be confirmed 24 hours prior to arrival. Popular for weddings and rugby fans! Must be followed by a full night advance booking. Where applicable, 2-night minimum restrictions remain, i.e. a half-day booking doesn't count towards the 2-night stay. 

3. Early luggage drop off - we have a very limited corridor space, with all the guests coming in and out. 2 parties may be allowed (4 bags max in total), we may disclose your identity to the other party leaving luggage. Don't leave any valuables. To be arranged on the day of arrival only, via Whatsapp. We can't arrange nor guarantee this favour earlier, apologies.

4. You room is ready by the check-in time (3pm), or earlier, if and when you receive our self-check-in guidance. Please don't text/call repeatedly - we are very busy enabling these rooms being cleaned, disinfected, verified and available to you, across more than one location. 

5. Late check-out is £25 at 12pm. This is to allow a different cleaning crew take care of the room after your stay. Housekeeping in Bath is in very high demand, and premium rates will apply. Please arrange this prior to your decision to sleep in. We will knock at 10.30am otherwise, you agree that we consider the guests after you.

6. Breakfast is not served at this time due to complications with staffing and some renovation works, apologies. Your room rate does not include breakfast in any case. For a list of alternatives, please visit the ever updating Local Directory:

Please notify us of your arrival time. We are unlikely to be at the house during most of the check-in time, so it is essential that you receive the code lock access code. This will open the front door and your room. Your room name will be provided with your self-check-in guidance.

All rooms, except the Springtime Suite are accessed through the front door.

The lock is illustrated on this page. Touch it with your full palm for a second and the numbers will light up. Enter your code, followed by Star (*). Turn the knob and push to enter.

Your room lock looks different, but the same code will open it, but you must use Hashtag instead of star at the end: (#), not (*)!

For the Springtime Suite - your entry is from the back alley parking spot. Please proceed to the alley by walking between house numbers 21 and 22, and turn left. (If coming from the Charlotte street carpark, turn right into the alley). Our house is 5th from the turning, you will see a sign Springtime at The Bluebell. Refer to our images for orientation. For the night time, there is an automatic light.
You can drive and park down this alley. Please park snugly into our space indicated as Guest Parking for Springtime at The Bluebell. Note, the alleyway can be too narrow for some larger vans. Do not leave your car parked in the alley, as it is used for other traffic.
On the back garden door, you will see the same code lock as in the pictures on this page. Touch it with your full palm for a second and the numbers will light up. Enter your code, followed by Star (*).
Turn the knob and push the door. Proceed into the back terrace down the steps, and you will see a door on the right. There is a lockbox with a key inside. Please use this key during your stay. The door handle needs to be pulled UP to lock, and pushed down to unlock. The code to the courtyard door and to this lock box will be emailed to you on the day of arrival. This key should be left there as you depart.

Important Organisational Matters

Please contact us if your arrival time is outside of our check-in time.
There is NO FRONT DESK.
If you are arriving late, please ensure you have the self-check-in instructions before arriving. Our phone might not be answered late at night. If you have an early or late flight into Heathrow please consider booking a Heathrow hotel for your first night to make a more comfortable journey to Bath.

Bicyclists: apologies, but we do not have any cycling storage at the property. We do not allow cycles inside the house for the obvious hygienic and aesthetic reasons. This restrictions includes our back garden and the Springtime Suite.

Please note, at the house, we do not allow the following:

  • Bikes or scooters of any kind

  • Parties or celebrations, at any time

  • Pets, except dogs for the blind.
